The Elizabethtown Fire Department is a combination department
made up of 40 men and women. The department serves a five-mile
district, which includes the Town of Elizabethtown as well
as Bladen County. Currently the department answers approximately
1150 fire and rescue calls each year.
The primary mission of
the Elizabethtown Fire Department is to provide a
range of services and programs designed to protect
the lives and property of the citizens of the Town
of Elizabethtown from the adverse effects of fires
and exposure to dangerous conditions created by man
or nature.
