PUBLIC HEARING

2. PUBLIC HEARING - Code of Ordinances Revision: Deletion of Chapter 98.07 (A) - Nuisances.

HEARING PROCEDURE: a) Open the hearing and presentation of the
proposed lease by Planning Director Mary Jo Gollnitz;
b) Solicit relevant public comments and information; and
c) Close the hearing after receiving or not any public comments. (Note: Council will consider this matter under the Ordinance section of this meeting's agenda.)

3. PUBLIC HEARING - Request of five-year lease for Four County Electric for the property north and to the east of the Lower Street / Queen Street intersection.

HEARING PROCEDURE: a) Open the hearing and presentation of the
proposed lease by Town Mgr. David Bone;
b) Solicit relevant public comments and information; and
c) Close the hearing after receiving or not any public comments. (Note: Council will consider this matter under the Ordinance section of this meeting's agenda.)

4. Code of Ordinances Revision: Deletion of Chapter 98.07 (A) - Nuisances.

5. Resolution # R-05-026 - Resolution authorizing a 5-year lease for Four County
Electric for the property north and to the east of the Lower Street / Queen Street intersection.

6. Resolution # R-05-027 - Resolution to Authorize a Town of Elizabethtown application to North Carolina's Clean Water Management Trust Fund for a grant to assist with sewer improvements.

7. Resolution # R-05-028 - Resolution to Authorize a Town of Elizabethtown grant
application to USDA's Rural Business Enterprise Grant (RBEG) program.

8. Resolution #R-05-029 - Resolution Authorizing the Assignment of Bids in
foreclosure cases.


ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS

9. Presentation by Ann Garrett, Branch Manager of the Elizabethtown Employment Security Commission, concerning the "Hire-A-Veteran" program, and reading of Proclamation by Mayor Kenneth Kornegay concerning the "Hire-A-Veteran" program.


10. Budget Ordinance Amendment #2, which would create some changes in the Classification Plan of the Town of Elizabethtown for some Police Department positions


11. Tax Release.
