1.                                    APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

PRESENTATIONS

 

2.                  PRESENTATION – A presentation of a Resolution of Appreciation to Mr. Edd Nye for his distinguished service to Bladen County in the NC Legislature will be made during the Noon Council Work Session.

 

3.                  PRESENTATION – A presentation will be made by Information Systems Director Bill Warfel at the noon Work Session concerning the town’s employee web page (which is an internal computer information system used by employees only).  Mr. Warfel will also be available for questions from Council Members concerning the town’s assessment of financial and billing software packages / vendors.

 

4.                  PRESENTATION – A proclamation honoring the players and coaches of the East Bladen High School Football team for representing the community with distinction during their 2006 season will be presented at the evening Regular Session.

 

5.                  PRESENTATION – A proclamation honoring Mrs. Alma Farris will be presented at the evening Regular Session.

6.                  PUBLIC HEARING – Zoning Map Amendment requested by AC & S Engineering to change approximately 27.58 acres of property in the general vicinity of the 800 – 1000 block of South Poplar Street from Medium Density Residential (R-12) and Heavy Industrial (H-I) to General Commercial (C-1), Case #RZ 1102062991.
