ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST

TOWN OF ELIZABETHTOWN

The Town of Elizabethtown is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Support Specialist. The successful applicant will perform a variety of tasks within the Public Services Department including preparing time sheets for payroll, answering and directing telephone calls, greeting visitors, preparing spreadsheets, data entry, bill paying, word processing, and maintaining filing systems. Candidate must possess knowledge of automated systems to perform duties and tasks. Knowledge of office systems such as computer, fax machine, and copier are necessary as well as knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidate must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license. Experience in related work is required. Applications can be picked up at the Employment Security Commission at 2950 West Broad Street, Elizabethtown, and will be received from January 2, 2007 until 5 pm on January 12, 2007.
