- In observance of Easter,
the Town offices will be closed on Friday, April 2, 2010. Offices will reopen
for business on Monday, April 5, 2010. Regarding the schedule for residential
garbage pick-up during the Easter holiday, the schedule will remain the same.
- The Drop Box located
at the Elizabethtown Municipal Building, 805 W. Broad Street, is checked Monday
through Friday (except holidays) at 5:00 pm for payments. Any payments placed
in drop box after 5:00 pm are processed with the next business day's date.
If applicable, late fees will apply.
- On Thursday, April 15,
2010, the Town of Elizabethtown will hold Spring Clean-Up Day 2010. Residents
are asked to place items that they wish to get rid of at the roadside
for pick-up by 10:00 a.m., or deliver items to Public Services (305 West Swanzy
Street) between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. List of items that will be collected:
Lawnmowers, toasters, chairs, yard waste, boxes, vacuums, books, tables, couches,
& refrigerators (Freon removed). Everyone is encouraged to participate
in this Spring Clean-up effort. For any questions, please contact the Public
