The Small Business Center Network supports the growth of existing businesses and the development of new business by being a community-based provider of training, counseling and information. The SBC assists small business owners and prospective owners in every area of their business needs by providing: seminars and workshops, direct one-on-one counseling, and a referral service. NC MILITARY BUSINESS CENTER
The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) is a collaborative effort
between North Carolina business and industry and the North Carolina Community
College System. Funded in 2004 by a grant from the North Carolina General Assembly,
the NCMBC operates under the supervision of Fayetteville Technical Community
College. The NCMBC has satellite locations at Craven Community College, Coastal
Carolina Community College and Wayne Community College. The NCMBC is also working
through the 53 Small Business Centers located at the other Community Colleges
across the state to provide services.
The mission of the Military Business Center is to leverage the presence of the
military in North Carolina to promote economic development and quality of life
for all. Our goals are:
