Public Notice As of today, June 1, 2007, the Town of Elizabethtown has implemented Stage I of its Water Shortage and Conservation Ordinance (Chapter 51.72 of the Code of Ordinances). This was done in light of the updated North Carolina Drought Advisory issued May 29, 2007 by the Drought Management Advisory Council, which now lists Bladen County as experiencing "Moderate Drought" instead of simply being "Abnormally Dry." (Information from the NC Drought Management Advisory Council is available on the web at http://www.ncwater.org/drought/.)With the implementation of Stage I of the Water Shortage Awareness Ordinance, irrigation of outdoor landscaping (including grass, shrubbery, trees, flowers and vegetable gardens) shall be limited to the following: (a) Irrigation
